With almost 15 years of experience in social and behavioural research, I have worked across many topic areas including road safety, health, social inclusion, and the environment. I have a passion for research, data, and processes, and am always seeking to improve my knowledge and skill base. Research is my profession but learning is my passion. I have a particular interest in conservation behaviour change, responsible consumption/waste avoidance, and the role of media in society. My hobby has always been writing action/adventure novels, with a heavy helping of behaviour, science, and nature. In 2020 I published my first fiction novel, "Edge of Extinction".

At the end of 2017, I was accepted into the Behaviour Change Graduate Research Industry Partnership (BC-GRIP) program to undertake a PhD in Behavioural Science - Environment. Between 2018 and 2020 I continued to work part-time with BehaviourWorks as a Research Fellow, primarily supporting large survey-based projects. After submitting my thesis, I returned.

As a Research Officer at BehaviourWorks I was able to combine my experiences from the social research industry with my educational experience in behavioural studies. Responsibilities as a Research Associate and Project Manager were largely similar to those of a Research Consultant. The key difference at the Associate and PM level was more supervision and projects involving less complex methodologies.
Primary responsibilities related to the Victorian Patient Satisfaction Monitor (VPSM), overseeing the data processing, data analysis, and end-of-wave reporting functions. Have also managed a number of survey projects, including member needs surveys, conference evaluations, and community engagement surveys.
As a Research Analyst my primary responsibilities included data checking and cleaning and managing data entry staff. I was also project manager of smaller survey projects such as conference evaluations.
