I worked for a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Company for more than 14 years providing IT service in one aspect or another. I was a part of the Research and Development Center of Excellence providing support for Instrument Controllers as a member of the Laboratory Infrastructure Support Team. My focus was related to Laboratory Instrument Controller workstations and any/everything related to them. That included building, qualifying, installing hardware and software, troubleshooting, managing security access, retiring, and maintaining the computer system validation documentation whether the systems were Development or Clinical Supply Mode systems/instruments. I entered and worked both Incidents and Requests in order to accomplish all the above while following strict change control procedures. I also created Service Requests to ensure all work was completed correctly and most importantly, fully documented. I created and revised the Instrument Controller CSV protocol documentation according to their internal Quality System using a proprietary software built on BlackPearl and InfoPath. I worked with other internal areas including Process Automation, Engineering Computer Systems and Discovery; in addition to troubleshooting with and assisting instrument vendors. I assisted end users who were high level chemists and biologists and PhD's in creating, reviewing, and submitting new/revised qualification protocols for their Instrument Controllers. As well, I performed all the ordering/receiving/inventorying of all new Workstations and any associated peripheral hardware. I am extremely motivated to deliver excellent customer service in an expedient manner in each and every circumstance. Every difficult problem provides the opportunity for an equally novel solution.
