I havee held several internal positions at Nationwide’s corporate headquarters from 1996 to 2001 including roles in Retirement Plans Underwriting, TPA Account Management and Internal Wholesaling and Support. In 2001, I relocated from his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, to Atlanta, Georgia, where he became the top Retirement Plans wholesaler in 2002. After three years of covering Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico for Nationwide, I took a similar role with The Hartford covering retirement plan sales in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. In 2005, I returned to Nationwide becoming the top Retirement Plans wholesaler again in 2006. In January 2007 Kirk was named Senior National Account Manager, Vice President, on Nationwide’s Integrated Relationship Strategies team, which is the role I currently holds today on Nationwide’s Strategic Account Management Team responsible for fostering the overall relationship with several of our key Focus Firms. In 2015 I was awarded the Hall of Fame recipient for Intergraded Relationship Strategies.
