Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot ThinkGeek's office infrastructure (mail, dns, fileshares, etc.) as well as manage the production environment (LAMP stack from scratch, new builds, etc.), development environment (same LAMP stack running on 40+ managed vm's), and DR site.

Managed a team of 5 government employees and 6 contractors, overseeing and integrating internet facing applications and services running in a Unix (Solaris) environment. DTIC hosted websites and applications for many DoD agencies, including the Joint Chiefs of Staff, DDRE's Plans and Programs division, and various agencies within the DoD. In particular: - Worked on integration of the DoD CAC with single sign on systems utilizing SiteMinder and Netscape LDAP- STIG preparedness and review- Managed SunOne and iPlanet web servers, utilizing BEA WebLogic or JBoss for a java application container.

Maintained the perl tree for modules and related code; user support for compilations and runtime issues with perl and perl derived modules;

Developed and maintain applications largely in perl for former AppNet customers that were transitioned into CommerceOne after a merger. Our customers were chiefly non profits in the metro DC area. Code catered to a post-web, pre-packaged internet user base.
