Krishan Bhatia leads Global Video Advertising across Amazon's growing portfolio of Streaming TV and Digital Media offerings including Prime Video, Live Sports, Twitch, and third-party publishers. He also oversees Amazon Ads’ Local Advertising business and partnerships.Krishan is the former President & Chief Business Officer of NBCUniversal’s Global Advertising & Partnerships division where he oversaw the company’s Digital, Streaming TV & Advanced Advertising business ($3B in revenue). During his time at the company, Krishan led the creation and growth of the company’s digital media business, developed NBCU's advertising platform for premium video, launched and scaled the ad-supported streaming service Peacock, developed the company's first-party data and identity platform NBCUnified, and led industry efforts for new cross-platform measurement and currency standards.To drive growth from non-traditional sources, Krishan built a portfolio of 200+ partnerships with the world's leading media and technology companies, including Adobe, Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku, Snap, Snowflake, The Trade Desk, TikTok, and X. Working across Comcast, Freewheel and Sky Media, he launched the company’s first global advertising offering in 2020.Krishan took on his role at NBCUniversal after Comcast acquired the company in 2011 and led the integration of the two companies’ advertising businesses. He joined Comcast in 2005 as a founding executive team member of Comcast Interactive Media.Prior to Comcast, Krishan was a Principal with Booz Allen Hamilton’s Global Media & Entertainment Practice advising many of the world's leading media and technology companies.Krishan served as Chairman of the IAB in 2022 and on its Executive Committee from 2020 to 2024. He also served on the boards of OpenAP, TVScientific and Anzu.Krishan earned a B.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
