Directed the Kent Denver School Science Department and its 14-person faculty. Major projects included researching, devising, and implementing a redesign of the Science Department’s scope, sequence, and graduation requirements to enable introduction of six new courses emphasizing topic-specific exploration of salient, modern scientific specialties (Epidemiology, Forensics, Molecular Gastronomy, Applied Genomics, Engineering Design & Build, etc.).

Served as the Dean of Students for the Class of 2009, 2013, and 2017. Responsibilities of mentoring, scheduling, and advising began when each class matriculated to the Upper School in grade 9 and progressed until their graduation, or, in the case of the Class of 2017, until my departure from the school. While working with students to customize their learning and community experience at Kent Denver was a seminal component of this position, I also fostered strong working relationships with parents and teachers on behalf of the students' overall educational experience.

Also was a contributing teacher of Laboratory Science and Technology for freshmen. In all courses, specific attention was paid to the development of case-studies, projects, activities, and supporting materials to engage students in the real-world application of course principles

During this tenure, Kent Denver School had 2 national finalist Policy Debate Teams, multiple qualifiers to the Tournament of Champions in Lincoln Douglas Debate, and won State titles in both Policy and Lincoln Douglas Debate.
