I've loved computers ever since I was a kid. I still remember modding Minecraft for the first time with files I found online. From there, I became fascinated with the ability to not just use software, but change and make it for myself. I felt powerful knowing that everything on the internet, from the simplest website to a hand drawn flash game, could be created by someone at home on their mom's computer. Finally, I was introduced to Java in high school and immediately knew that programming was what I wanted to do with my life. I bought all the books on Java and Object-Orient Programming I could find, always hoping to find things I could do to improve my coding. My love of software development continued into college, where my classes at VCU taught me there was more to software than just coding in Java. There I learned Python and fell even deeper in love with creating through code. A year later, I transferred to William & Mary, and it was here that I truly flourished. I studied even more programming languages, writing secure code, compilers, hardware, algorithms, and theoretical applications of computer science. All the while, my passion never dimmed. I am still just as eager to learn new things and develop projects as I've ever been.So now, as I enter the work force, I am excited for what awaits me. There are new problems to solve, new things to learn, and more to build.Specialties: Java, Python, C, C++
