In 2019 I pivoted using the wholesale business model to create a business which would connect sellers of recycled plastic material from multiple countries to buyers of such material in other countries. The business was global by its very nature. With me personally dealing with buyers and sellers in a range of countries i.e. Turkey, India, Nigeria, the UAE etc… Plastic material included post consumer plastic bottles, bottle flakes, high density plastic and plastic lumps generated as waste through manufacturing.

I am responsible for writing the copy for each individual online discount, writing the title and description of the discount. I am also responsible for making sure that each discount works as it should.

Founder and Director of Handsome Fella Ltd, a male beauty, grooming and ethical clothing brand and retailer operated on a B2C and later B2B basis After gaining funding from Virgin Startup I launched my own small scale retailer, buying on a bulk basis organic, ethical and sustainable products. I built and designed the website presence using Shopify as the chosen platform. We sold products B2C via our online and social media channels. A B2B marketplace platform to our website was later added.

As an event coordinator I helped to manage a number of different educational sites during the evening times during the working week and in the day on weekends. This involved me helping to oversee the hiring out of school premises to a number of external clients and businesses. The schools were also clients of ours, as well as us having customers that hired spaces.

In this role I worked in a fast paced office environment designing a business conference from start to finish. I would make contact with very senior professionals in a range of industries, speaking to them on the phone to interview them and gather their opinions on relevant topics that I was planning to design a business event/ conference based on. I would also then attend the conferences in multiple global locations, overseeing the conference and meeting speakers and attendees.
