  Contributes to the development and implementation of the quality policy. Coordinates the agreement and application of quality-related methods and tools. Develops quality control plans with the aim of mitigating the risk of non-conformities in process. Communicates and explains the quality system within the organization and outside the organization (i.e., to suppliers) when required. Motivates, encourages, coaches, and influences new behavioral patterns enhancing the quality culture within Marel. Identifies, handles, and coordinates containment actions after articles have been produced either internally or externally that do not comply with the specifications. Coordinates when needed the Root cause Analysis (Corrective and preventive action) for non-conforming processes, parts, and machine failure. Initiates feed-back loop for internal lesson learned (L.L.) and follow up on service engineering reported fixes (external L.L.). Analyzes and interprets data and uses the data to identify improvement opportunities and to formulate concrete improvement projects. Supervises and carries out product and process audits (both internal and external). Develops and draws up reports, methods, and resource specifications in consultation with the Quality Manager. Develops rating and development systems, for both internal and external use, for the areas of organization, processes, and products. Manages data and databases in relation to quality. Monitors the standard of the quality level, amongst other things by tracking trends, etc. Coordinates and draws up problem definitions, cause analyses, containment, and corrective and preventative actions. Initiates, participates, and leads improvement projects.
