As a tutor and lecturer at Bus Stop Films and Griffith Film School, I work to empower marginalised communities through inclusive filmmaking workshops and education. WINNER - Elitch Theatre CommUNITY Award, Children's Day International Film Festival 2018. Recognised for mentoring emerging youth and creating female participation in key crew roles. Creative Producer of Cool Fashion Girls Short Drama Film, which was filmed as part of a children's film mentor workshop which I created, where the motto 'pay it forward' was embraced by the hard working crew who wanted to give something back to future filmmakers. Cool Fashion Girls is a funny, sad, cheeky, high quality short film and best of all it was written by (at that time) the talented 9-year-old Charlotte Stent. During the children's film workshop all the kids who were not acting were allocated a film crew buddy and they had turns at different crew roles such as director, 1st AD, sound, art director, and clapper. 100% profits from this film were donated to Make A Wish Foundation.
