Work in accounts receivable for 2 Residential and 1 Outpatient facilitey as well as billing for services rendered. Entering all monies received as well as running daily reports to ensure all monies are balanced. Billing for services rendered and following up on outstanding accounts.I also enter all ancillary charges into HMS to be billed. I assist in month end procedures for the account receivable team and work to ensure all numbers balance with financial reports of our CFO.

I started my career with Community working in the front office of a family practice. Daily duties contained checking in/out patients, verifying benefits, scheduling ordered tests amd speciality appointments, daily deposits, and any other duties as assigned. I then moved into the billing office for our Outpatient Mental Health devision working in Accounts Receivable doing daily billing of charges, follow up on accounts, and assisting in any way possible for other departments. I was then promoted to a Lead position over all our charge entry and cash posting. overseeing all charges entered and all monies and adjustments applied. balancing month end and year end with our financial decision within the network.
