Commissioning

. Responsible for safe and reliable operation of 156.1 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. This included the following plant and equipment:· Gas Turbine Generator · Fire Protection System· Heat Recovery Steam Generators · Air Compressors· Steam Turbine Generator · Emergency Diesel Generator· Ion Exchange Water Treatment · HV/LV Electrical Distribution Plant· Balance of Plant· Independently operate the Panel during Safe Startup, Shutdown and handling Operational emergencies with DCS/PLC (ABB Advant Process Control System) applications.· All Water Handling System, this includes the system from Raw Water Reservoir, Water Pre-treatment Plant, D.M Water Plant and the HRSG's steam and Water path. Responsibility included everything operation of all the systems, chemistry, pre-treatment to DM production, chemical treatment in HRSG etc.

· Ability to program, troubleshoot and communicate on Allen Bradley Micrologix SLC 5/03, Micrologix 1000&1200, Siemens, Modicon.· Practical exposure of RTD, Thermocouples, Load Sensors, Level Detectors, Flow meters, Temperature controllers, Capacitive & Inductive proximity switches, thermostats, Control valves.· Creating new applications with Wonderware's `Intouch' SCADA Software for various process / applications development, Alarms, Real time & historical Trends.· PLC ­SCADA Communication, Communication of SCADA with Excel.· Knowledge of PLC Wiring, source & sink concepts· Knowledge of Programming Variable Speed Drives, its Variable speed & Torque Characteristics, Energy saving concepts.· Creating Applications, Downloading / Uploading Program, Communication with PLC using HMI ( panel View 300 Micro ).
