Built a business model around for-profit conservation. Successfully used angling tourism and trout farming as an incentive to conserve a kilometer of river stretch profitably using tourism/fish farming. Built Key Accounts function for OYO’s travel partner channel—first experience doing retail channel sales. Good fun.Massive growth before the COVID-19 Fall. It was scaled to 15+ Direct reports, a total team of 142 with an associated MRR of 14Cr+. The function was rolled up to the reporting manager during COVID-19 measures. Fun Fact: Travel agents in India still drive 20-30% of the market share.

Caught, photographed and released many many fish. Target species were mainly the Himalayan Golden Mahseer (Tor Putitora) , Rainbow Trout (Onchorychus Mykiss) and Brown Trout (Salmo Trutta). Traveled and lived with anglers, fish farmers and fishermen.Deep Research in Fishing/wildlife tourism as a means of conservation. Good times. Built Account management (this was before we called it customer success) function for North India business working closely with the Founders. Scaled and handed over to new team . Moved to Johannesburg and setup RSA Operations , handed over and moved back to India for personal reasons. Fun fact : Finished one passport in one year with stamps travelling through Africa.

Commissioned LRSB (Long Retractable Steam Blowers) and Steam Boiler ID/FD Fans among other systems for 2*490 MW Steam generators at NTPC Dadri. The plant was commissioned in time for the Commonwealth Games and under budget. Fun fact: Superheated steam leaks in a boiler unit will cut off your body parts without a noise, you go looking for these with a long stick with a flag at the end.
