I was the first non-aboriginal director brought onto the Board of Wakayos Holdings Inc., a First Nations Development Corporation. The organization was faced with a number of challenges due to lack of capital and a number of steps were undertaken to address the challenges including hiring their first CEO.

As a Board member of ISC, the provincial land title crown corporation, I was Chair for 6 years and Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee for another 5 years. During my time on the Board the corporation went from losing $6 million per year to a profit of $24 million per year. During my last year on the Board the Company completed an IPO that was over.
