In an outpatient PTSD Clinic, I povided individual insight-oriented psychodynamic psychotherapy to veteran patients presenting with combat-related PTSD and co-morbid developmental trauma, substance abuse/dependence, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and partner relational problems. I also provided individual cognitive-behavioral therapy utilizing components of the Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) protocols to outpatient veteran patients presenting with combat-related PTSD and other co-morbid disorders. I co-facilitated several long-term process-oriented psychotherapy groups and co-facilitated weekly group supervision for psychology trainees. I also developed and implemented a 5-week intensive Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)/Mindfulness group for a population of veterans in residential substance abuse treatment.I also conducted comprehensive neuropsychological and objective/projective personality assessment batteries for adult veterans to provide diagnostic information and treatment recommendations in response to various referral questions, including questions regarding TBI, PTSD, tinnitus, and hearing loss. I administered: Clinical Interview, WAIS-IV, Wechsler Test of Adult Reading (WTAR), California Verbal Learning Test (CVLT), Rey Osterreith Complex Figure Test, Trail Making Test, Controlled Oral Word Association Test (COWAT), MMPI-2, and Rorschach (Exner Scoring) and rendered written reports to identify treatment needs, diagnostic clarity, & assist in treatment planning
