Helped to develop a knowledge base that was intrinsically part of the product and scaled up as the company grew:- Designed a knowledge base that started relatively simple with software based on a platform and then grew to a modular solution that uses multiple components. - Developed training programs for customer success teams and clients.- Developed and implemented an end-to-end analytics strategy for product documentation.- Led the development of web apps to showcase the product. I have developed prototypes with Figma and Balsamiq to help to design the apps. I have also contributed to the codebase with Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

- Configured an FFM proprietary software to address the needs of the client.- Developed customizations based on .NET framework (C#).- Tested and debugged customizations developed by other members of the team.- Reported guidelines and testing protocols for customizations and functional configurations.

Distributed All-optical CO2 Sensing for Field-scale Subsurface Carbon Management; Project funded by Carbon Management of CanadaIn 2012, I joined a team at University of Victoria and we started to develop fiber optic based sensors to provide continuous measurements of CO2 concentration under typical conditions of geological CO2 storage. Carbon Capture and Storage is considered to have great potential in reducing CO2 emissions in a relatively short period of time. A key aspect for Carbon Storage is to develop reliable technology to verify secure storage of CO2, fulfill safety regulations and achieve public acceptance. From this project, I acquired the following EXPERIENCE:- Designing various fiber optic sensors, in particular, refractive index based sensors;- Data processing and analysis using software tools including Matlab and OriginaLab - Developing nano coatings with dip-coating and atomic layer deposition to enhance the sensitivity of fiber optic sensors;- Using the scanning electron microscope to characterize materials (coating thickness, material composition);- Sensor testing;- Prototype developing;

Optical Sensors and Nanomaterials for Anion Recognition;Project funded by the Portuguese National Funding Agency for Science, Research and Technology (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia)After completing my Master thesis, I worked on a project to develop optical sensors for anion recognition. These sensors were designed to be applied in the medical field, including early detection of diseases, and environmental science, for instance monitoring of water contamination.EXPERIENCE acquired through this project includes:- Manufacturing fiber optic sensors;- Use of different methods to coat fiber optic sensors with nanomaterials- Sensor testing - Data analysis
