Reporting directly to the Vice President of Development, I am responsible for the entire individual giving program at Rebuilding Together. I work closely with other members of our development team, manage the Associate for Individual Giving, and collaborate heavily with our Marketing and Communications team. Responsibilities include:- Creating annual fundraising campaigns across multiple channels, including direct mail and email.- Developing specific individual giving programs, including our monthly giving program and major gifts structure.- Maintain a growing portfolio of individual donors who make contributions of $1,000 - $4,999- Working closely with the President & CEO to identify and develop strategies for major gift prospects and renewals- Provide knowledge on individual giving to our nationwide network of 120 affiliates- Develop policies and procedures for tracking individual gifts in Salesforce- Implement structure for moves management of individual donors- Manage relationships with vendors and consultants

Reporting directly to the Annual Fund Director, I was responsible for three funding streams at Food & Friends: our Monthly Giving Program, our Mid-Level Individual Giving Program, and our Workplace Giving Campaigns. In addition to the Sustainer Program responsibilities outlined in the Development Coordinator position, additional responsibilities included:- Managing a portfolio of 200 mid-level donors who contribute $1,000-$4,999 annually, which includes personal phone calls, handwritten communications, and in-person meetings- Managing a portfolio of 30-50 mid-level prospects, identified during weekly prospect meetings- Creating/Implementing an ongoing calendar of online and offline communications for mid-level donors, including annual solicitation campaigns, quarterly stewardship pieces, and special event opportunities- Creating a branded mid-level giving society call “The Red Apron Society”- Writing copy for mid-level solicitations and designing/producing mail packages- Managing our partnership with the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), preparing and submitting annual applications for funding and managing Food & Friends’ participation at agency fairs- Creating annual revenue and expense projections for each program

Reporting directly to the Director of Development Operations, I continued to manage responsibilities of the Development Assistant position, but also managed Food & Friends’ Sustainer (Monthly Giving) Program. In addition to the responsibilities listed in the Development Assistant position, my responsibilities included:- Developing a calendar of ongoing stewardship of monthly donors, called our “Bread & Butter Club”- Implementing upgrade campaigns for current sustainers- Collaborating to implements large-scale sustainer appeals to recruit new monthly donors, including telemarketing campaigns- Following up with lapsed monthly donors to renew commitment- Serving as point of contact for sustainers to address any questions or concerns

Reporting directly to the Director of Development Operations, I provided administrative support to the entire development department, which included:- Gift processing and data entry into Raiser’s Edge Donor Database- Processing acknowledgments for direct marketing donors and major donors- Coordinating in-kind donations of food and processing acknowledgements- Serving as point of contact for donors, answering questions, directing calls and resolving issues where appropriate- Supervised 5 administrative volunteers for the department each week- Processed and maintained invoices to be paid by department
