I represent a diverse array of clients facing complex litigation challenges in federal and state court. I have served as lead defense counsel in numerous lawsuits arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and have broad litigation experience, including class actions, residential mortgage-backed securities lawsuits, government-challenged mergers, and intellectual property disputes. I have extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including written discovery, offensive and defensive deposition preparation, motion practice, mediations, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.I also maintain a vibrant pro bono practice and engage in community service. I recently represented r asylum seekers fleeing violence in their home countries and successfully obtained asylum for a Venezuelan family. I also teach appellate practice and trial practice skills to Boston middle school students. While in law school, I participated in the Federal Appeals Clinic, which provides pro bono legal assistance for individuals in need of representation in their federal immigration appeals. As a member of the clinic, I co-wrote a winning appellate brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I am also an active member of the Boston Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association and the Wellesley College Alumnae Club of Boston.I am the author of "Whether You ‘Like’ It or Not: The Inclusion of Social Media Evidence in Sexual Harassment Cases and How Courts Can Effectively Control It," 54 B.C. L. Rev. 1841 (2013).
