We sold school buses and related products in the State of Oregon with our predecessor company being "Western Bus Sakes, Inc"--one of premier bus distributerships in the USA. and sold that in 1987 and later founded Larson Bus Sale, IncI founded Western Bus Sales in 1974

Operated and managed programs for various public transportation systems in five states --4th largest firm of this nature in USA when sold this company in 1997

Operated school buses in various statesTook one year off in later part if 1980 going into 1981 as a result of conflicts with Board of Directors and key stockholders) and as a result of a sort ofmid life crisis as well. Completed theses (two) for MBA during this period. Purchased the companies and became sole owner in 1981-1982. At this time we had three offices with two million in sales (300 employees) and when companies sold about 40 million in sales and 20 offices and around 2,000 employees. Substantial amount of sale proceeds given to employees and customers when companies sold in 1997-1998 and much of rest to create "The Larson Legacy" foundation.

Taught Citizenship classes

Known as the "Blue Buses" we operated the buses going from the suburbs if Portland from all directions except Vancouver to and from Portland I managed one division and re-routed and scheduled the entire system manually in 1971 and was the key point man in the court case between the "Blue Buses" and TRIMET (local transportation authority) after they condemned and took over operation in 1972.

Assisted State Senator, Toshi Ansai. A great man of opposite party in days they both worked together for most causes benefitting their fellow man including international affiliations Did some researchDid some bill writingCreated numerous resolutions which were signed off by the Governor

Elected paid position called "Delegate" to the 1968 Constitutional Convention of the State of Hawaii. Was a "big deal" for State was operating under older documents from territorial days. Hawaii became a State in 1960. We did the entire writing if the Constitution later approved by voters (my later job was to give talks among the islands explaining the proposed Constitution I was known for the 18-year-vote (sponsored) and "Right of Privacy" both which passed and proposing the unicameral legislature (which did not pass but which wax very controversial at that time)

Education office--counseling soldiers as to their educational aspirations. We offered numerous accredited classes in site, some which I taught (U of H classes). Also taught citizenship classes

Taught social studies to seniors in high school. Elected faculty President. Advisor to Key Club. Member of Kiwanis representing Leiluhua HS and member of faculty basketball team as well
