Leslie is well known for her not-for-profit board leadership and as a proponent of equitable access to healthcare for children and cancer patients. She is driven to develop and grow effective nonprofit healthcare boards, forge powerful networks, and ultimately drive real progress. As the first female Chair in it's 125-year history, Leslie has played an integral role on the board of Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation. With endowment assets of $90 million, she has championed care for children facing special health challenges from chronic illnesses to complex physical disabilities. In the role of Board Chair of The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation, Leslie successfully established the inaugural 15-member Board that included former NJ governors, the Commissioner of NJ Commerce and Economic Development, and senior leaders of pharmaceutical companies, regional banks, and private equity firms. Leslie Taylor began her career with Matrix Development Group, one of the Northeast’s most respected real estate investment and development firms. As Partner and Vice President, Taylor played a leading role in the establishment of the company into a full-service real estate investment development firm with corporate, industrial, residential and hospitality assets throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Leslie went on to become Managing Director of a new partnership formed by the Rockefeller family and a NJ Affiliate where she successfully directed the corporate re-positioning, leasing, marketing, and asset management of this $100 million portfolio into the campus known as College Park at Princeton.In her free time, Leslie enjoys global travel, sailing, spending time with her family, and summers at her home in Block Island, RI.
