CollaborationSupporting teams is a strength of mine.When in a leadership role, I have a track record of ensuring people are equipped and heard. As a shift lead at Caribou Coffee, I consistently set upcoming shifts up for success. In that role I also became a mediator and a ‘safe space’ for my coworkers.When I’m in a non-leadership position, I still contribute excellence and a listening ear. In school, I contributed clear communication to class projects. Whether it was clarifying expectations, initiating group meetings, or validating classmate suggestions, I’ve pushed teams towards meeting goals while respecting boundaries.2. OrganizationI’m naturally organized, with a logical approach to tackling tasks.When I’m presented with large workloads or projects, my first response is to prioritize tasks and then execute them in order.Additionally, I do well managing and working with numbers. I was responsible for recording accurate inventory and ordering accordingly as a shift lead at Caribou Coffee. In school projects, I’ve worked with manipulating and analyzing data from various sources, ensuring data quality.3. LearningI have a love for gathering new information and skills.I am a natural student; I received my Bachelor’s in Data Science at 18 years old. I’m continuing to grow my technical skills, including working with Excel, SQL, R, and Python. But it’s not limited to the education space. When I’m exposed to something that piques my interest, my inclination is to learn all I can about it.4. Problem SolvingI thrive when finding solutions. I enjoy the challenge of finding the source of a problem, and then resolving it. It’s extremely rewarding to uncover the weak spot, whether in a piece of code, a business case, or an experiment. The highlight of my data-related coursework was using insights to find underlying problems and brainstorming ways to remedy those problems. 5. Passion for ImpactI love when my work creates tangible results for people.It can be as simple as brightening someone’s day, something that happened often in my previous customer service-oriented roles.
