Performing regular schedule reviews with the principle contractor and site inspections to review: performance, design issues, technical problems, ensuring the site is being managed in line with CDM regulations and Health & Safety adherence. Strategic planning with the operational technical support teams to resolve and overcome technical issues to prevent expensive delays. Manage scope variance with the suppliers by instigating the best solution for the project, stakeholder and client. Regular reviews with the commercial team to verify that each suppliers’ costs are justified and any applications for payment are in line with the project budget. Review and authorise compliant handover packs, identify all other key signatories required and facilitate successful completion. Accurate reporting to the baggage operational assurance and airline approvals board on project progress and statistics for assurance and to maintain airline confidence for investment purposes.
