▪ In charge of all in vivo projects in the lab; responsible for patient-derived xenograft (PDX) tumor subcutaneous and orthotopic implantation, cancer cell line injection, and in vivo models drug administration, tumor measurements, fluorescence tumor imaging. ▪ Managed collaborative in vivo projects; estimated experiment cost based on research plans; coordinated with biospecimen core in University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, OMRF animal facility and collaborated labs to ensure the success of on-going projects;▪ Collected and processed around 150 ovarian cancer patient samples including blood and tumor tissue; successfully generated xenograft models by surgical transplantation on mice; shared derivative tumor models between labs from OUHSC for drug efficacy tests on chemo-resistant PDX models.▪ Established aseptic rodent survival surgery protocol; establish tissue freezing protocol; optimize histological and immunohistochemical staining protocols.▪ Designed and performed the experiment of IPTG inducible shRNA gene cloning to four types of ovarian cancer cell lines. ▪ Conducted multiple experiments for defined projects, including cancer cells proliferation assay, drug response assay, protein analysis, flow cytometry cell cycle assay and apoptosis assay. ▪ Maintained all mice colonies for in vivo experiments; routinely updated and managed computer database; maintained records of details for samples collections and projects as hard copy and digital files; reported and analyzed experimental data as supervisor’s request;
