Managed corporate/nonprofit partnerships and cause marketing programs, which included the implementation of media relations, community relations and outreach strategies, and the development of press materials, collateral, online campaigns and Web sites for clients including Hyundai Motor America, Hasbro, Inc., TJX Companies, Inc., Hole in the Wall Camps, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Los Angeles Regional Foodbank, and several other local nonprofits. Key accomplishments included:• Developed the organizational structure to execute an annual nationwide tour of 40+ events for Hyundai’s nonprofit “Hyundai Hope on Wheels,” which required the coordination of local children’s hospitals, regional marketing managers and local Hyundai dealers. Conducted media relations in each local market and secured hits with all major network affiliates and daily newspapers. Managed program Web site and production of collateral distributed throughout Hyundai’s network of 780 dealers.• Managed A&P’s proprietary Cause Marketing Accelerator™ program for HomeGoods, which involved an extensive audit of the corporation’s philanthropic goals, proposal evaluation for nine major charities, and advising in the selection of their official charity partner. Developed a nonprofit version of the Accelerator™ for Union Rescue Mission and led a team to conduct the Accelerator™ on A&P, resulting in the selection of Big Brothers Big Sisters as the company’s official charity partner. • Managed the production of an online celebrity charity auction and conducted media relations for Hasbro’s “Project Zambi,” a cause marketing program that raised more than $500,000 for children orphaned by AIDS in Africa, and landed the top media hits for the program on USAToday.com, HuffingtonPost.com, USWeekly.com and 10 days on the eBay.com homepage.
