In 2019, after 20 incredible years at Self Enhancement, Inc., I followed by hearts purpose - helping women heal. Now I'm the Founder/Executive Director of FaithBridge Portland. We provide faith centered, trauma healing and recovery services to Black and Brown women. It's an AMAZING journey!

    FaithBridge is an organization that exists to provide opportunities for women emerging from trauma and/or life transition to reconnect in a deep and life transforming way with their Christian faith. These women could be emerging from an abusive relationship, recovering from divorce or abandonment, transitioning from incarceration or recovery, or becoming an empty nester. Through hosted workshops and retreats, FaithBridge seeks to create and hold space for women who want to heal in a way that honors their traditional Christian faith.Many women can find themselves on one side of trauma and loss gazing over to the other side of restoration and wholeness but feel powerless to get there. Many were raised on the faith of their family and ancestors. They remember the words of God. There’s a longing inside to return to a place of peace. At FaithBridge, we want to help facilitate that journey.FaithBridge was founded in 2019 by Lisa Saunders.
