IPT Docket Specialist - foreign docketingUpdate CPI docket software with critical dates for the entire firm's foreign patent portfolio. Work closely with paralegals in all offices in connection with specific due date reports, attorney changes, file transfers and update queries. Create PowerPoint presentations on payment of patent annuities. Currently creating presentations for the attorneys, paralegals and secretaries to utilize CPI patent docketing software to run quick reports, due date lists or attorney docket reports. Work closely with manager of department to re-evaluate the patent docketing actions to be more streamlined and less cluttered. Will work closely with newly hired foreign patent docket proofreader.

Responsible for payment of patent annuities and maintenance fees for all patent clients, including drafting letters to clients, maintaining docket records and processing invoices;Process all incoming invoices for Intellectual Property Department, including payment of foreign currency invoices, through Rueschlink online;Assist patent and trademark docket clerks with docketing, processing of incoming mail, performing queries and creating reports on the docket system;Maintain deposit account with the United States Patent and Trademark Office including reconciling account and replenishing account on a daily basis and billing the appropriate clients;Assist paralegals, attorneys and docket clerks on miscellaneous projects as necessary.
