Commanded/managed an AFROTC unit awarded status best detachment in region (Cat A). Administered a college-level officer training program. Served as senior Air Force officer at geographically separated unit–ultimately determined who was commissioned. Instructed senior-level course on National Security Affairs, integrating both written and verbal communication skills.

Lead team of eleven in the sustainment of F-15 avionics systems. Served as the 2nd in command of a 60 person squadron supporting the maintenance and life cycle support of all USAF F-15 aircraft. Managed $30M avionics suite upgrade, saving $6M over previous proposal.

Developed and managed the USAF corrosion program. Wrote maintenance instructions for corrosion prevention and control of all USAF weapon systems and support equipment.Coordinated on all research pertaining to weapon system corrosion protection systems. Annually inspected all major commands for successful execution of corrosion control programs. Controlled all aspects of 74.9M multi-service contract and reported audit compliance to Department of Defense Corrosion Executive.

Worked as a research engineer analyzing the real-time detection of damage on composite panels utilized in modern aircraft under the USAF's Engineering and Scientist Exchange Program. Served as a representative of the nation and USAF with France's equivalent of our NASA on cooperative research programs. Invited speaker for 2nd European Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring in Munich, Germany.

Coordinated readiness and deployment/redeployment of 1500 personnel assigned to the 463d Airlift Group. Directly reported to the group commander on the readiness of the unit and ensured the most expeditious and efficient modes for deployment of forces. Managed 3 deployments/redeployments of 200 personnel to support operation in Iraq. Hand selected to assist support the command staff in execution of the mission—a position reserved for #1 captain in the wing.

Ensured the production delivery schedule of engines, specifically the $275M nozzle and augmenter development program, to support the delivery of F-22 aircraft. Cut $5 out of development cost as a part of the Cost Improvement Program. Oversaw the operational test and evaluation of these components for compliance to requirements.

Identified hazardous material replacements for use in the production and maintenance of C-17 aircraft. Assisted local units maintaining C-17s in achieving compliance with changing environmental regulations. Managed $30M+ contract to identify/replace hazmat usage in maintaining C-17s. Prepared budgets and financial reports to the director. Program highlighted as #1 in the Air Force and by Environmental Protection Agency Region 9.

Evaluated maintenance technical order instructions for compliance to current and pending environmental regulations. Managed material evalaution projects to replace hazardous materials used in weapon system maintenance. As #1 company grade officer in unit, represented the center at all civic social events as the base ambassador. Nurtured relationships with civic leaders.
