    Served as a public information noncommissioned officer for the 10th Sustainment Brigade, which was later renamed the 10th Mountain Division Sustainment Brigade, including it's approximately 3,000 soldiers. Supervised and administered the brigade's command information programs using print, and limited video assets. Advised the brigade commander on all mater related to potential public response to certain courses of action. Wrote and published stories and photos that were picked up by local, national and international media. A photo was also featured on the cover of the Army Sustainment Magazine. Supervised 3 NCOs and managed 12 unit public information representatives. Selected over 8 peers to serve as platoon sergeant, which consisted of a unit of 20 officers, 37 NCOs, and 14 junior enlisted soldiers. Served as the acting senior enlisted in the company in the absence of the first sergeant. Planned, administered and taught soldiers basic video techniques, which saved the division more than $1,100 for every ceremony held when soldiers returned from a deployment.

Trained a soldier to improve his physical fitness after failing an Army Physical Fitness Test. The section maintained the highest physical fitness average in the company.
