Provided guidance to high-profile applicants such as New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board, East Jefferson Levee District and the Town of Grand Isle, Louisiana.Acted as liaison between high profile applicants and interested parties such as Shaw Environmental and Coastal Engineering, Senator David Vitter’s office, Congressman Charlie Melancon’s office and T. Baker Smith Engineering Firm.Chosen to be a mentor for GOHSEP’s new hires and to be the lead on interpretation of FEMA’s Public Assistance Pilot Program allowed by Congress beginning June 1, 2007. Acted as a liaison for New Jersey State Office of Emergency Management on Hurricane Sandy project in Mercer County, New Jersey. This included the Department of Environmental Protection, New Jersey Department of Military, and The Diocese of Trenton, New Jersey.Provided guidance and assist in the assimilation of required documentation for sub grantees in the State of New Jersey going into the closeout phase for Hurricane Irene, Tropical Storm Lee and eight other federally declared disasters.
