I am an Accounting and Economist with a passion for diversity and inclusion, and a specialist in Business from Internexus, San Diego. I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul, and a Bachelor's degree in Economist from Universidade Federal de Alfenas. I also have a certification in Governance Risk and Compliance from OCEG, and multiple skills in process improvement, analytical skills, and management accounting.Currently, I work as a Finance Coordinator at Alice, a health tech startup that aims to transform the healthcare system in Brazil. At Shopee, I oversee the cross-border accounting operations in four Latin American countries, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the financial reports and packages. I also led the handover of the accounting and internal control process for Shopee's operations in Brazil, as the first hired of the GL Finance Brazil team, and became the point of contact for the definition and implementation of the accounting flow, reconciliations, and reporting of LATAM operations. At Alice, I support innovative and impactful projects (in Accounting, treasury and expenses projects). In addition, I was the sponsor of the Finance Team on the D&I Committee at Shopee, which consists of generating an inclusive culture in the work environment and seeking for diversity of the team, to solve the most complex issues faced at a working environment. One of the main works was the creation of the “Roda de Conversas – Mulheres”, to persuade professional and personal development through mentoring and exchange of experiences.
