I design and oversee Youth INC’s two-year Metrics Program and Alumni Engagement Program, which includes: strategic development; budget management; oversight of program/project coordination and administration; annual cohort selection; and continuous improvement processes. Through coaching and training with close to fifty NPPs, I build deep and trusting relationships with executive directors, senior and mid-level leaders, and direct service staff to support their capacity-building efforts in program excellence, staff development, and organizational change. It is through impact evaluation efforts where our partners can measure their success related to staff development, positive youth development practices, and the social-emotional learning outcomes young people experience in their programs. I manage professional relationships with consultants, subject matter experts, and technology and science partners. I served as Community Site Supervisor for two Portland State University Capstone Programs, providing oversight and training to consulting teams working to address organizational needs and policy development. I was also a member of the Local Public Safety Coordinating Council’s Youth and Gang Violence Steering Committee guiding policy decisions with the intention of bringing youth to the center of the process.
