The team's performance was enhanced by a factor of 2 through the reuse of existing components for new feature implementations- Designed a generic application framework for faster delivery. Awarded provider for higher education in the middle-west region.At UniCEUB, I helped the IT team to develop a brand new student's portal as part of a corporate facelift initiative as well as maintained existing systems to support the business processes. The major achievements are:- Developed the brand new student's portal. With a 13000+ user base, the new web application was built from scratch with Asp.Net MVC, Asp.Net Web API, JQuery, Bootstrap and SQL Server as the database. From server-side data cache to image compression, various techniques were applied to deliver the best results.- Designed integrations to corporate legacy systems like the HR payroll module. Integration points were created using a WCF API layer exposing data consumed from the legacy databases decoupling clients from the details of the database layout.- Implemented ALM policies and took part in the ALM adoption committee. CI features in TFS like gated check-ins and builds definitions were put in place in order to guarantee the quality of the deliverables.
