Hi my name is Marcus Ruiz! I am a first generation undergraduate student at the University of Southern California. I am currently in my fourth year pursuing a bachelors degree in Cognitive Science along with a double minor in Applied Analytics and Business.My education journey is a bit different than others, but I feel as though my fields of study work harmoniously with one another to give me a strong intuition in business and a foundation in behavioral engineering of the human system. These skills have taught me how to construct effective chains of command, productive work environments, and meaningful relationships with my colleagues.For as long as I can recall I have always made an effort to be as committed to any organization I involve myself in. I have never been one to sit and watch on the sideline, I do my best to be a leader and take responsibilities into my own hands so that I can help where needed.
