Upon conclusion of research fellowship, I was invited by the APS to present findings at the Experimental Biology Conference in Chicago in April of 2017. At the conference, I was awarded the Barbara A. Horwitz and John M. Horwitz Outstanding Undergraduate Abstract Award, and the David S. Bruce Excellence in Undergraduate Research Awards at the conference. In addition to this fellowship, I also served as a mentor for the Fellowships in the Ursinus Transition to an Undergraduate Research Experience (FUTURE) program at Ursinus College.
