End result of the teams efforts have already saved countless hours and removed the potential of transcription errors which previously plagued the past dosimetry program.• Assisted in maintaining a meticulous audit program for the dosimetry office, identifying and correcting over 500 mistakes with past dosimetry records.• Implemented local radiation control limits, tracked radiation exposure for personnel and by work item, determined methods to reduce exposure, established worker stay times, ensured personnel maintained radiation exposure as low as reasonably achievable, and as necessary performed dose investigations.• Worked with shipboard medical personnel to maintain medical radiation exposure records for 800 radiation workers and approximately 2000 non-radiation workers.
