I started my working career in the e-Learning industry, where I gained nine+ years of experience and skills. I have an accumulated experience of eight years in customer service; four years in Client Account Management, two years as a Client Care Specialist, and two years as a Customer Service Supervisor. Then I moved into web development where I gained one year experience as a Platform Analyst. I took a two year break from my career to be a stay at home parent. My last career opportunity took me into the alternative health and wellness industry (specifically-Cannabis) . I volunteered to help build a start-up CBD company's brand and reputation, online and in the community, before I took a position as the retail Store Manager at their first store front. This was once in a lifetime opportunity as there were no written roles, rules, or guidelines to build the business. This company is one of the leading in its industry! Individual creativeness, intelligence, self-motivation, passion, and entrepreneurship were the most valuable skills to be successful in growing this start-up company. From my experience and knowledge gained over my working career, I was able to successfully build a foundation of policy and procedures for the store front. I also contributed many beneficial business relationships made through connections at pop-up events in the community or directly through working at the store. It was also my responsibility to stay current on the industries regulations, trending topics, and the science behind it. My most important duty at this company was to properly educate those who were open to be educated. It is my passion to continue to work in fields that have missions to positively impact people's lives, as I enjoy making direct connections with people that are working to create positive lifestyle choices. I also enjoy working directly with small or start-up companies that thrive on entrepreneurship, welcome creativeness, and connect with their community.
