As a proud UNT alumni, multi-passionate science educator, nature enthusiast, curious entomologist, and lifelong learner, my passion lies in nurturing curiosity and critical thinking in students. With a solid background in biology and extensive teaching experience, I offer a unique blend of expertise to the classroom.My journey in education and entomology is complemented by an interest in ecology. This passion led me to co-found the SEEDS chapter at UNT, where I played a pivotal role in fostering a community dedicated to ecology education, diversity, and sustainability.Currently, I am honored to be a member of the entomology and education department at Texas Discovery Gardens. In this role, I aid in the management of reptiles and various arthropods, as well as maintaining an indoor tropical conservatory. I also write and create educational programming while actively engaging with the community through outreach and educational programs.For me, it's all about pursuing endeavors that ignite passion and curiosity. I am deeply committed to advancing science education and entomology, utilizing my knowledge and skills to inspire the next generation of learners and foster their academic and personal growth.
