As the sole HR Business Partner of a team of three, I worked closely with the Sr Director of HR to support just under 100 employees in a fully remote start up environment. Key Accomplishments & Projects:• Leadership Partnership: Regularly met 1:1 with managers at all levels of the organization to provide guidance on engaging and developing their teams. Empowered and prepared leaders to adequately address and meet the needs of their teams.• HR Metrics: Prepared and presented HR metrics, analysis, and strategic action plans to executive leadership quarterly. • Employee Engagement: Partnered with the Sr Director of HR to develop actions plans that addressed areas of opportunity and over the course of two years, improved engagement from the 16th percentile to the 84th percentile in the Gallup engagement survey.• Onboarding: Revamped the onboarding process with a key focus on the new hire experience and engagement in a remote work environment. Created resources for managers and new hires to support a successful transition into a new role and company culture. Maintained a 98% employee satisfaction rate measured using an onboarding feedback survey I created. • Performance Management: Owned the revision and rollout of our annual performance review process from a cumbersome approach and to one that focuses primarily on having a meaningful discussion with their manager resulting in development goals for the new year. • Talent Development: Introduced individual development plans, including developing a process, template, and training deck for employees and managers.
