We're based in the South West of England (in Kenn near Clevedon) We use predominantly Cisco Networks to provide internet service to Students across the UK. My role includes configuring the switches, routers, installing and patching the switches, routers, fire-walls, Servers, NetEnforcers and IPTV Servers at new sites. When in the office, I deal with faults escalated by our help desk and try to resolve locally. If needed, I travel to sites to do fault finding and replace equipment if necessary

Worked mostly as a database specialist on Alcatel OCB 283 Digital switches (at Telkom's National Operations Centre in Centurion SA). Spent the last two years there as a Network Administrator on their Cisco based VPNS networks.
