Serves as an EOD/CIED Trainer and EOD Analyst for the 71st Ordnance Group (EOD). Responsible for researching, managing, and implementing current Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) applicable to standard and non-standard EOD operations. Proactively ensures external EOD organizations perspectives and training objectives are recognized and incorporated into the training.– Provides individual and collective training strategies incorporating multiple assets by coordinating with installations and their facilities, resources, and other agencies to improve EOD training. Worked – Works closely with the Curriculum-Training Developer and EOD O & I Analyst to ensure training reflects current intelligence updates and TTPs.– Research, develop, plan and provide a realistic operational environment that enables the 71st OD GP (EOD) subordinate commands to undergo external evaluation events in order to assess performance and capability to conduct administrative and MOS-related collective tasks in support of EOD operations.

Served as an Operations and Training Integrator for the 71st OD GP (EOD). Identified the opportunities, challenges, trends, issues, and risks in conducting a myriad of plans and operations tasks; encompassing the planning of operational exercises and real world operations. Assisted with the force development process and the development of policies and procedures for unit readiness while coordinating training for unified land operations/decisive operations.– Assisted the Commander with the integration of the EOD Group Headquarters and subordinate units with associated Corps, Division, and Brigade elements in the establishment of a CIED TF.– Lead Planner for the Group Operations (S3) Staff and subordinate unit headquarters in developing Master Event Scenario List (MESL) storylines and injects for Battle Simulation Exercises.

Provided strategic direction and concise information for senior personnel in the Department of Energy (DOE), DoD, and multiple National Laboratories to focus on the safety of responding personnel when developing nuclear weapons publications and accident training scenarios. Acted as DoD planner and evaluator for the Nuclear Weapons Accident Incident Exercises (NUWAIX) providing extensive coordination and logistical support to meet numerous inter-agency goals in the execution of strategic level exercises. Chaired the Joint EOD Steering Group for Nuclear Weapons managing the coordination of information and assignment of tasks between the representatives from each of the armed forces and DOE by planning, scheduling, and conducting meetings for the Group.– Brought extensive experience in the review and improvement of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) related policies, manuals and procedures at the National and Tactical Level.– Resolved a critical deficiency in the training of deploying EOD personnel by standardizing Pre-Deployment training for all deployed DoD and U.S. Government Agency EOD Personnel ensuring that nuclear weapons verification, damage assessment and electrical render safe procedures were equivalent.– Induced intense coordination between National Nuclear Security Administration, and Sandia Laboratories in New Mexico and California, was able to resolve security classification issues with hazardous items of a weapons system which would have put EOD first responders at risk.
