I have the great opportunity to consult with city governments throughout the U.S. on how to get maximum value out of limited street maintenance budgets and effectively preserve their infrastructure. Helping agencies deploy sound strategies based upon the latest research supporting pavement preservation is a primary focus. Beyond being an advocate for pavement preservation; I’m determined to being an advocate for the right pavement preservation. Understanding the many tools in the toolbox and then matching those tools to the specific use and condition of the pavement is paramount to cost-effectively managing a network of roads.I speak at American Public Works Association events, Road Schools, LTAP trainings, etc. across the country. Recently I was appointed to the Advisory Board of the International Pavement Management Association. I’ve served on the board of directors for the regional pavement preservation partnership with state DOTs and FHWA for the Western U.S. I’m also the provider of continuing education on asset preservation for the international organization supporting reserve study professionals for private HOAs.
