Conceptualize and implement the Stanley Foundation's international climate change programming, with duties including:• Research, analyze, and report on climate policy discussions and decisions; • Develop and implement conferences and workshops for key policy and decision makers;• Write and commission policy briefs and position papers for in-house and external publications; • Create and manage programming budgets and staff responsibilities;• Cultivate and manage relationships with external organizational partners; • Regularly attend and participate in key international meetings and negotiations, such as the annual United Nations Framework Convention.

Researched and helped edit academic work including journal publications and books for faculty on topics such as civil-military relations, international negotiation, and U.S. national security and foreign policy.

Assisted students, from freshmen undergraduates to PhD candidates, with writing assignments and projects in all subject areas. •Assisted with the planning and implementation of the National Writing Center Conference.•Actively participated in the National Writing Center Conference.•Each semester, aided in the management of Writing Day, a campus-wide event to promote UIC writing programs. •Volunteered at WELL, Writing for the Enrichment of Living and Learning, helping recovering substance abusers develop résumés and cover letters.•Mentored incoming UIC freshmen attempting to pass entrance exams for English composition courses. This included helping students in the development of a group colloquium at the end of the writing program.
