Presently, I work as an academic advisor to the L3 Harris, Global Flight Academy, which is based out of Sanford, Florida. The academy serves to qualify student pilots from the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and other countries around the globe. In my role, I analyze student performance, advise, and mentor students regarding their academic performance, and provide specific oversight to the CAA/EASA (UK/EU), Korea Aerospace University (KAU), and Part-61 student pilots.Prior to this, I worked for St. Matthew’s University. As the Associate Dean at St. Matthew's University, I oversaw the clinical rotations for medical students throughout the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., ensuring their academic and professional success. With a Ph.D. in Education and over two decades of academic advising and supervisory experience, I have the skills and knowledge to support the students and faculty in a variety of settings and situations.My core competencies include student development, staff development, curriculum development, accreditation and licensure reporting, and health education and promotion. I am passionate about providing quality educational experiences that prepare students for the next step in their career—whether that’s becoming an airline ready pilot, a physician, a teacher, coach, or exercise/health professional. I am comfortable working face-to-face and remotely, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across different states and countries, while maintaining a shared vision and mission for student success.
