I have over two decades of experience working in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech sector in drug development both at a technical and a project level. Most recently I have worked in the areas of Customer Management and Business Development. In previous roles I have been able to gain significant experience in API outsourcing, CMC Regulatory support, contract management and process development.I am a well-organised and self-motivated person who is flexible and adaptable with excellent project management and communication skills and thrives from working outside my comfort zone. I have demonstrated throughout my career that I am able to meet new challenges and have the capacity to see a project through to completion. I work well in a cross-functional team environment and have good influencing and negotiating skills, which I have developed from the extensive collaborations with colleagues at different levels within and outside the organisations I’ve worked with. I have a practical and analytical approach to problem solving and seek to understand the issues. I am goal orientated and driven to meet the performance requirements to enable excellent customer service. Achievements over my working career have been many and varied. Some key achievements are:- The synthesis of new chemical molecules- Development and scale-up of clinical and commercial API processes- Transfer and management of API production at external manufacturing organisations- Project leader for a multi-tonne commercial spray drying campaign of a Covid-19 excipient.
