Working with a Professor of mine from UWM, I am currently assisting Steve Pevnick and his studio team with the manufacturing and installation of Graphical LED Waterfalls.

As an intern for AmeriCorps/WISPIRG Energy Service Corps, I completed 300 hundred hours of service promoting energy conservation and related sustainability efforts, in addition to my regular academic work. Our responsibilities consisted primarily of educating young students, conducting door to door energy surveys, and performing in-home energy audits. Establishing a student organization at UWM, obtaining an office in our Student Union and hosting the first meeting happened within a month's time. During my tenure, our group educated more than 1,200 children throughout Wisconsin by developing and teaching lesson plans targeted at specific age groups. As an energy auditor, I used my architectural background to relate to homeowners beyond the rubric of AmeriCorps and WISPIRG. Fundamental knowledge of daylighting, heating and cooling was well accepted by the residents.Our first service retreat took place in Green Bay, WI while college was out for spring break. This week alone we taught 800 children through 5 days of lessons, one of which hosted Wisconsin Senator David Hansen. As a volunteer for the annual Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, I assisted with setup, hosted the Energy Service Corps information booth and helped our group present a weatherization information session.Additional responsibilities included networking with city officials, where I obtained endorsements from several city Alderman and Supervisors.
