Hospitals have come to depend on his reimbursement and financial expertise, allowing organizations to safely navigate through the maze of Medicare and Medicaid Regulations.Prior to joining Germane Solutions, Mr. Simonson was the director of health sciences, regulatory and capital markets consulting at Deloitte & Touche. While there, he became a thought leader in the industry, leading a network of consulting professionals who dedicated their time helping clients address audit, accounting and reimbursement issues for an array of healthcare entities including: Academic Medical Centers, Acute Hospitals, Specialty Hospitals (Rehabilitative, Psychiatric, Children’s Hospitals and Long Term Care Hospitals), Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health Agencies, Hospices and Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (CORF).Mr. Simonson has published several articles and delivered thought provoking speaking engagements covering complex, industry related subject matter to various organizations including the American Health Lawyers AssociationMr. Simonson holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Minnesota State University.
