Currently serving as the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer for Boys Ranch founded by Cal Farley. Most of the last 20 years at Boys Ranch I have served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. My life experiences and education have made me comfortable with a wide array of activities whether it's problem solving with a troubled student, training and equipping staff to be effective in working with youth, designing programs to support positive youth development, collaborating with a school district to best serve a diverse group of students, upgrading and maintaining the infrastructure of a community, overseeing construction projects, tracking investments, overseeing oil and gas contracts, preparing to put on a rodeo, or gathering cattle while horseback. Boys Ranch requires all of these efforts (and more) and I feel very fortunate to be able to bring my diverse education and experience to help serve the mission.When not on ranch or at the offices in Amarillo, I like to spend time with my wife, Deb, who lives full time in Santa Fe, NM. Starting with two sons and two daughters, we now have nine grandkids.
