Primary Responsibilities:• Full architecture and management of multiple VMware environments, all SAN storage environments (including EMC and NetApp), as well as Cisco UCS blade server environments in multiple datacenters• Led the planning and migration effort to move all systems and applications from both older datacenter to both new datacenters. This included a full research and discovery effort of all applications only 1 month after starting • Part of core team responsible for bringing the entire corporate SAP system in-house. This included building a fully virtualized environment for SAP on a new VCE vBlock 700 system as well as deploying a vBlock 300 system at our secondary site to hold the SAP lower tier systems. • Primary person responsible for architecting, deploying and managing the EMC Recoverpoint system that was used to replicate all production SAP data from the primary site to the secondary site• Involved in the full deployment of our new production Cisco UCS system as well as leading the deployment of the UCS system at our secondary site. This deployment included setting up and configuring the UCS blade chassis, the Cisco Fabric Interconnect devices and the Cisco MDS SAN switchesOther responsibilities• Primary manager of all datacenters for the company. This included completing the primary datacenter build out as well as fully implementing the secondary datacenter build out• Deployed Raritan DC Track software with Raritan asset tracking hardware as well as PowerIQ software• Managing of multiple NetApp storage systems, with no prior Netapp experience or training. This included deploying new LUNs, managing and deploying CIFS shares, as well as the migration of our primary CIFS environment from the old datacenter to the new primary datacenter
