• Responsible for the design and implementation of a Global Retail strategy into the UK and delivered £18M in savings.
• Developed the organisational structure, including roles and responsibilities, to align with the new business model.

• Chaired the monthly supply chain working group, involving Shell’s trading team and the main shop supplier, Palmer and Harvey.

• Led a team of Business Development Managers responsible for selling automotive fuel and lubricants, industrial lubricants and fleet fuel cards to end users in an extremely competitive market place.
• Integrated Shell’s business in Northern Ireland into the Irish Shell company based in Dublin, significantly reducing operating costs.
• Member of the Crisis Management Team during the September 2000 Fuel Crisis.
• Restructured the sales force from being product specific to market led, merging three sales teams into one.
