Building upon nearly 14 years with Arctic IT in various sales and business development-related roles, an opportunity arose to allow me to deepen my project/program management skills and to apply the specialized skills and knowledge I've accumulated toward very specific client needs.Now, as a program manager, my work has me focused primarily on managing specific project elements - including scheduling and logistics - in conjunction with my Arctic IT colleagues and other industry partners to ensure successful project outcomes for our clients.

As Arctic IT has continued to grow, certain job roles and functions have been identified as needing more than just part-time attention.Thus, beginning in the fall of 2008, my role within the organization changed slightly. As an AE - Network Infrastructure, my primary role is to focus on developing new and onging business for the NI team within the company; ensuring right-sized solutions are brought to bear for our customers.This role includes identifying targeted customers and the development and maintenance of partnership relationships with them to ensure that they are able to derive the maximum value for their IT investment.

Participated with an all-volunteer leadership team comprised of IT professionals to provide value to membership that included ongoing education and member events. This included participation in production of the IT Expo trade show and efforts to build membership.

As a Business Analyst I worked with clients on identifying strategies and solutions for specific business challenges. Projects included supporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing for a major telecom provider – which included consolidating and analyzing process logs to confirm adherence established policies and procedures and modeling the company’s automated billing system to ensure billing was calculated correctly – and coordinating and developing a time-entry and payroll processing approach for an oil and gas services business with more than 1,000 employees throughout Alaska.
